A good story galvanizes and inspires, whether that story comes in a long-form piece, 140 characters or a strategic image. The role of any good storyteller is to find the idea, the image, the concept that reaches a consumer’s heart and mind. I’ve used my talents as a storyteller to articulate a consumer’s needs – for education, access to employment, or high quality, cost-effective health care – and to persuade them to rely on my employer to meet those needs. 

I’ve acquired a jeweler’s eye for composition: I aim for clarity, precision and polish, whether I’m drafting a blog, a long-form article for an external or internal newsletter or a compelling tagline for a direct mail piece. My experience in health care has given me a talent for using other people’s stories to motivate and inspire – a skill I’ve applied in crafting case studies explaining how giants in tech and digital marketing transform the ways their clients engage customers around the world. I am especially adept at streamlining highly technical details into fluid, easier-to-read prose.

Worlds revolve inside a photo caption, a blog post, or a postcard. An expert writer is the person who sets those worlds turning.
